Can I bring a Bike onto Basin Transit Buses?
Yes, all Basin Transit Buses are equipped with bike racks on the front of the buses.
What are the restricted & prohibited items not aloud on Basin Transit Services?
- Car batteries: The lead-acid and corrosive contents make car batteries unsafe for bus transport.
- Flammable fuels: Substances like gasoline, kerosene, or other fuel for camping equipment are not allowed.
- Weapons and sharp objects: Items such as firearms, knives, and other dangerous instruments are prohibited on buses.
- Large, cumbersome, or leaking items: For safety and space reasons, objects that could shift, fall, or leak are generally not allowed.
- Aerosol cans: While some personal-use items may be allowed, many aerosol products are flammable and may be prohibited.
- Gas Powered Bikes.
Why these items are prohibited:
